The 25th Annual Race 4 Research raises over $100,000

Almost 500 runners and walkers participated in the 25th Annual Cancer League of Colorado Race 4 Research presented by the University of Colorado Cancer Center and UCHealth, which was held Sunday, August 15th in Washington Park, Denver. The event netted more than $100,000 in fundraising for Cancer League of Colorado. The money will support cancer research and cancer patient support organizations in Colorado.

The largest team was the University of Colorado Cancer Center team with 39 runners and walkers. Team Wheel Pros/American Racing had 21 while Team Suddenly Pink and MIND OVER MATTER each had 17.

The top fundraising team was MIND OVER MATTER, which raised $11,869. The B'Cuz We Can! team raised $4200 and Team Stand By Me raised $1300.

Top individual fundraisers were Gabrielle Palmer ($5,855), Lin McHaley ($4,535), Holli Hartman ($3,000), Stephen Strand ($2,125), and Kurt Roose ($1,660).
